This year, we have based Global Week on a book called ‘How to help a hedgehog and protect a polar bear’. This book looks at different habitats and how, we as humans, have influence over the survival of a variety of different species of animals.
Oak class activities are linked to British Gardens. We started off with a visit to Finley’s Garden which is in our school grounds and then designed a class garden using the Revelation Art program on the computer.
Today’s activities included making ladybird houses out of rolled up newspaper, building bug houses out of construction materials, collaging butterfly masks and decorating animal and Autumn pictures.
